About us

We are Constanze and Rick Daamen. A since 2011 married Dutch-German couple. After a few ups and downs in our lives including an unsuccessful first IVF-treatment, we decided in 2016 to take a year off and travel the world. End of 2017 we came back to the Netherlands. Since then we have been trying to find our way back to work and live in Rotterdam. Now, that we are a few years further and our plan of creating a family here did not work out after all, we chose to follow a new plan B. We will leave our Dutch lives behind us, make one last roadtrip through Europe and move to Germany end of 2021. Unfortunately, Corona suddenly entered all of our lives so that we had to keep postponing travelling. Postponing is now history. We bought a van, rented out our appartment and we quit our jobs (again). Let's see how this plan B in times of Corona will work out. We will travel as cautious as possible, following the rules of each country we will visit...there is always a Plan B...this is ours.
